The embedded module TQMa62xxL, is based on the processor family AM62xx (Quad /Dual / Single Cortex A53) from Texas Instruments. This LGA (Land Grid Array) module is designed to use the pin-compatible processors on one module design. This module is ideal for applications that require advanced computing power and scalable graphics performance. The AM62xx family is introduced as the successor to TI’s AM335x family.
This CPU family offers a performance plus in graphics, computing power and a variety of industrial interfaces. These include 2x Gigabit Ethernet switches with TSN support. In addition, they have various interfaces such as USB2.0, CAN-FD, UART and CSI. The overall package is rounded off by a Cortex A53 which, in addition to dual display (LVDS/ RGB), has an optional 3D GPU.
